We do not recommend a takeover for every project. Sometimes development supervision makes more sense. We will be straight with you.
When your project is held together by
sheer willpower, it is time for a change
We take over chaotic projects that most vendors avoid. We turn chaos into a stable foundation.
- First, we find out what we are actually taking over.
- We stabilize what is on fire, then we develop.
- We are technology partners who keep helping after handover.

Projects taken over
TRUSTED BY
These situations bring companies to us
Most projects we take over have been running for a while. The problem is that development stopped making sense, lost pace, or became unnecessarily expensive.
Every fix opens new problems
One bug gets fixed, three new ones appear. The code works only
until someone touches it again.
The project progresses, but slower than it should
Features are added, but not at a pace that matches the time, budget, and expectations.
Communication with the vendor is unclear or exhausting
Instead of clear answers, you get excuses, vague deadlines, or technical explanations with no business impact.
You pay for development but have no control
You do not know what is being done, why, or whether it matches company priorities. Clear processes – development and project – are missing.
You are taking over a project from a previous vendor and do not know its state
Documentation is missing, the architecture is unreadable, and no one dares to say what the real risk is.
You feel like you have become a hostage of your own system
Nothing moves without the original vendor. Every change takes long and costs more than it should.
We are not developers who write code and leave. After stabilization, we stay and keep developing
A consultant writes a report. A developer writes code. We do both – and we stay.
80 % of our work is backend and frontend – where a project truly stands or falls.
We take over the code, architecture, risks, and responsibility for what comes of it.
And we stay as your technology partner. After handover, we are available for updates and further development.
"Taking over projects is the kind of work most colleagues in the industry avoid. It is complicated, unpredictable, and requires admitting that you do not know exactly what you are taking over – until you go through it thoroughly.
We enjoy doing it. Because a client who has experienced chaos knows exactly what they want: someone to take responsibility, communicate openly, and not leave them in uncertainty again. That is what we do."
What this means in practice
You can see what is happening on the project, its status, and why each step is being taken.
Within 5 business days, you get the first report
and know what happens next.
You get access to Asana and a clear overview of the project status. You see priorities and next steps.
You receive regular reporting with full decision-making context.
We can explain decisions both technically
and from a business perspective.
When a problem arises, we do not avoid it. We solve it.
We build the project so it does not remain hostage to us.
"I like the principle where we agree on the project (task, concept), break it down in detail in Asana, and then work on it. Progress is trackable throughout development and it is clear even during invoicing."
We do not want you to take our word for it
Trust does not come from a presentation. It comes from how we think, how we work, and what we leave behind.

Communication without fluff and without passing blame
Project takeover needs a proper process
Before we take over a project, we first test it, understand it, and set up a way to take it over without unnecessary risks.
Schedule a consultationAnalysis and reality mapping
We find out the state of the code, architecture, documentation, processes, and communication. We name the risks and prepare a realistic plan.
You tell us what you want to achieve and what it actually looks like today. We are not trying to sell more than you need. The goal of the first call is to find out if we can help you. If not, we will say so.
Stabilization of critical areas
We solve what is holding the project back the most. Typically critical errors, unsustainable code parts, unclear responsibilities, or process weaknesses.
Know-how transfer and process management setup
We take over responsibility so the project does not depend on a single person or a single vendor. We set up transparency, prioritization, and decision-making.
Development that finally makes sense
Only when the project is stable does it make sense to accelerate delivery and solve further development. Not the other way around.
Because paying for chaos no longer makes sense
The biggest cost is not taking over a project. The biggest cost is letting things run just as badly as before.
Every change takes longer
With an overview of risks and opportunities
Technical debt grows
With a roadmap for the first weeks
Unclear architecture
With a proposal for the collaboration approach
Vendor dependency
With a clear recommendation for next steps
Delays and outages
Security and data protection
"A well-done analysis ensures the same mistakes will not be repeated in the future."

What companies ask most often
Yes – and we know this is probably the biggest fear of anyone considering a takeover. Nobody wants to deal with an e-shop outage in the middle of the season. We proceed step by step. First audits, testing and risk mapping, then gradual takeover. We deploy critical changes during the lowest load window and always with a backup. Not because it is in our process – but because we care about your business running smoothly. With both Invital and Aromaniac, we took over running e-shops without a single outage.
No, and do not put that pressure on yourself. Sometimes a building inspector is enough – someone who looks over the shoulder, checks quality and points out where risk is growing. The current vendor stays in place. We will tell you openly whether a project takeover makes sense only after the analysis. And if not, we will show a different direction.
That is a fair question – and we are happy to answer it. We build the project so it does not remain our hostage. Readable code, ongoing documentation, standard technologies. If you ever decide to go elsewhere, we will hand over the project in a state that any competent team can take over. Vendor lock does not interest us. We want you to come back because it makes sense.
We plan for that in advance. We set up a handover checklist and fill in what is missing by working directly with the code and infrastructure – we can reconstruct basic documentation from source code. And if the original vendor refuses to release access or code? We have experience with that. We will also help you with the legal handover process.
Honestly? We rarely recommend a complete rewrite. It is the most expensive option and the risk is high – and we do not want to sell you a project you do not need. In most cases, we can work with what is there. First we stabilize the parts that hurt the most, then gradually rewrite piece by piece – while the system is live. That is exactly how we handled it with Invital. If a rewrite makes sense, we will tell you. And we will show you a cost comparison of both options so you can decide with a clear head.
Yes. And we recommend this to everyone who is not sure. The analysis is a standalone product with a fixed price and scope. After it is completed, you decide – whether to continue with us or go elsewhere. Even in the latter case, you have a report in hand that will be useful. No commitments upfront. Just a clear picture of where you stand.

"Great experience! I can wholeheartedly recommend Honza and his team. They jumped into an ongoing project (mobile app MAMApp), had to deal with all sorts of complications, and handled everything excellently. I regret Honza was not on the project from the start."
